In the Cone! |
Oh how I hate this time of year! The last time I peeked at the National Hurricane Center site, Ernesto was supposed to go west of Florida and into the Gulf. Today he seems to have changed his mind.
That's me frowning there by 8am Thursday morning when Ernesto is predicted to be a Hurricane. If all goes right he'll keep his speed down to a Category One and hang out to the east of me. However, I know those ocean waters are warm out there and there is no telling if Ernesto is going to decide to kick it up a notch or two.
Here's to hoping Ernesto either runs out of steam or shimmies his butt back out to sea. |
Stumble It!

I hope he goes out to sea. The pattern has changed since I saw it last. Which was yesterday.

I lived for 20 or so years in hurricane areas and don't miss it a bit.
Hope it stays away from you.

Hi liked reading through you have a nice blog Thanks for sharing hope you guys are ok Wish you well

Up where we live we always get the remnants of Hurricanes, so this basically means it'll rain for 2 days, and a couple of idiots'll try to go Kayaking in the Potomac River (gets pretty rough when it floods) and die. Natural Selection, hard at work.

Natural selection makes O-Man cry!
Hope it doesn't hit your area.

My sister lives on the Gulf side of Florida and she's getting pretty sick of hurricane season. She's ready to move back to Texas which I think is great!!
-
I moved to Spring Hill, FL last October and moved back to MA in June. I missed my first possible Hurricane season. You have to have them so we have something to talk about.

Once he gets up there and sees your sad face in the cone, I'm sure he'll take a right turn! Here's hoping, anyway! (He's supposed to visit my siblings and parents on the way up to you--I'll try to tell them to make him feel unwelcome so he'll head out to sea sooner!)
