Death by Groceries
It is amazing that I haven't dropped dead of heart failure yet but I reckin' I will in time if I continue to buy groceries on such a low budget and keep eating the following 13 favorites.

Keep in mind the following are any day and at any time meals, minus the veggies which I cannot stand unless you hide, bread and fry the things. No, I prefer to get my veggie intake by instead eating things that eat veggies. (or down a vitamin with my morning cup of coffee!)

1. Chorizo with scrambled egg, dolloped with sour cream and rolled in a soft tortilla.

2. Corned Beef Hash topped with 2 Eggs over Easy.

3. Cappuccino Cream of Wheat. Usual recipe just opt for milk instead of water, 1 tablespoon of Instant Coffee and sweeten to taste. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.

4. Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese

5. Spaghettios!

6. Hot Pockets. (Meatball Mozzarella Croissants are my favorite.)

7. Oscar Mayer Cheese Dogs with can of chili (no beans) on bun.

8. Onion Bagel filled with Pepperoni and Motzi Cheese, microwaved for 20 seconds.

9. Chocolate Jello Cook & Serve Pudding, still warm but cool enough to form Pudding Skin!!

10. Fried Bologna and cheese sandwich with French's Yellow Mustard.

11. Pancakes!

12. Pot Pies, the cheap ones but must have crust all around.

13. Tuna or Meatball Subs.

Have a Great Thursday!

Mmm, you're making me hungry! Fried bologna sandwiches are the BEST, except I substitute mayo for mustard and a slice of tomato for cheese. ;)

Oh, tomato soup with grilled cheese is one of my all-time favorite comfort foods. Especially if it's Heinz tomato soup. YUM.

Also a big fan of the pancakes. I make them fairly often, and my husband and I always have them on Mardi Gras (going back to the pancake dinners I used to attend at church when I was little). My favorite kind is the applesauce pancakes I discovered on Mardi Gras 2006.

I haven't had a fried bologna and cheese with French's mustard in soooo long! This makes me hungry! All good things, but yes, I could see how heart failure might come into play. I guess it's all good in moderation.
