eTour & Travel, Orlando Florida - Biggest Pricks on the Planet!
I learned some time ago the art of blogging and search engines give us consumers a bit of power in the free market. Whether you blog about a wonderful restaurant review or a delightful new friendly store in your neighborhood. If you blog about it, they will notice and so will others.

Every once in awhile, you may come across a bunch of fraudulent, rude pricks. It is our duty to warn others about such nonsense and put out a buyer beware, a major complaint and do a massive bitch out over a company that seeks to rip people off.

So please forgive me at this moment while I go ahead and do just that. Excuse my language as I will most certainly admit - I am very emotional over this matter right now. This isn't like me - for those who know me I am optimistic, fun, forgiving and will more than likely cry over a matter than throw a brick through a window. Except this time.

If you ever call and make hotel reservations or vacation planning to Florida you may receive a telemarketing call from this place called "eTour & Travel". They do this sort of thing sometimes when you make reservations and put yourself in some sort of database that you are a traveler. However, if you ever get a call, an email or a snail mail from "eTour & Travel" - trust me, report them as Spam - toss out the entire envelope mailed to you or demand that they remove you from their calling list.

They are nothing but frauds and I've been burnt by them terribly. Our bank account drained by unauthorized withdrawals and they are evil, dishonest scammers. If "eTour & Travel" or any other marketer calls - it would be wise to first Google their company name and take a look see if there are any complaints or posts such as this out there before doing business with them.

Live and learn, I suppose.

Thankfully, together with my banking institution I received restitution yesterday afternoon. It's not over by a long shot, for they are now facing criminal charges filed with the Attorney General of Florida. It seemed I'm not the only bank customer who was sucked into this ordeal.

This blog post is in hopes nobody else gets in "eTour & Travel's" greedy, dishonest and slimy hands.

Thanks for bearing with me..

I have just had an interesting experience with them. Somehow, they got a hold of my cell number (I must have signed up for something and not realized it). They have been calling my cell number on an occasional basis. Too often as far as I am concerned. My cell number is only for friends and family and they are neither. I have called them only to be hung up on asking them to remove my number.

They asked me first if I knew what the promotions were and I refuse to listen to it. I'm not interested and obviously that doesn't make them happy because they cut you off right after that!

E tour and travel called my cell phone while I was online and I quickly did a search which turned up many complaints about them, including this one. He was not happy when i told him about all the complaints and asked him to take me off the call-list. He was still trying to talk me into it when I hung up. Pathetic!

I have never done business with this company. However, they do have the last two digits of a now defunct MasterCard, plus my name and address. They keep calling saying I can use the $398 I supposedly gave them on July 18, 2002 and add another $98 to buy the package. When I refuse interest, they get really nasty and call me names, etc.

    Stay away from these people!!!!

Wish I had read this a few months ago before I signed up with them.

The family and I went on our Pre-paid vacation. The car rental agreement was not honored and we had to take public transportation to Orlando's attractions. Found out by another traveler that the so called discount was trumped by $40 just by going to the local visitors center in Orlando.

    Family of 5 x $40 = $200 bucks!

We had to sit through a program guerrilla marketing time shares. The fine print on the contract reads that 60 minutes of your time is mandatory. After a 20 minute sales pitch I tried what I could to stuff coffee and doughnuts in my mouth to waste away the remaining mandatory 40 minutes.

My watch read noon - I proceeded to leave. Their actions then were bordering assault and illegal constrainment. WTF!

I won't even get into the ashtray of a room we had to stay in. I smoke and the shit was so rank that it bothered me. The fridge was caked with nastiness and the nest of cockroaches behind the bathroom tiles was unfriggin' believable.

Do yourself a favor, don't even go there. First mention of Etour over your phone/cell - hang the fuck up!

These people have been calling me as well. I just talked to them this evening- very polite young man named Dino. However, when Dino was informed very nicely that I would need to talk to my husband first, and research the company on the web, he put his manager on the phone who was very nice and kept asking me very chatty questions. He kept insisting that I get on the web with him right now so that he could show me his company info and the rooms. When I explained that we were just about to sit down to dinner and it wasn't something that I could do right now he kept insisting. Then he says "you're going to say anything right now to avoid getting online- I'll just call someone who wants this vacation" and then he hung up. From really nice to REALLY rude. I get on line and find this blog. What jerks. They need to go work for their paychecks like the rest of us.

I've been recieving calls from them for about a year now....When I asked the gentlemen a phone number so I can verify the real identity of them, he then ask me to go on the website...I just ask the company name and said that I would do my own research and he was suppose to call me back in few minutes.....they never did....thank god, it shows just how serious this company is !!!

Thank you so much for your blog! I just got a call from etour and travel and they offered me this $99 family deal. They asked me to go to their website. So I did. Then I said I needed to talk it over with my husband and to check out their company. Then he asked me to go to www.sunbiz.org. But it did not list his company. He asked me to try 3 times and it still didn't come up. So I googled the company and found your blog. After I read a bit of it then I promptly told him I am not interested. So thank you!

  • At 12:34 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

Oh yeah, when I told him I'm not interested after I saw your blog, the person on the phone implied that I was lying when I told him I couldn't find his name on Sunbiz.org... the nerve of him!

Last June I paid $99.00 for a family package. A friend who used this company said they were okay. Just yesterday I went to book my reservations and was told that they had no record of my name but they did have a recored of my visa number which was under a name of some other lady. The girl I spoke with was very rude would not transfere me to her manager. I askes how the f---- could they make such a mistake and put my visa number under another persons name. I am from Canada the person who now owns my package is from North Carolina. Tell me how this happens, I am still battiling this company to refund my card, I have contacted visa and told then not to allow and charges from this company to go on my card. STAY CLEAR BE WARE THEY WILL STRIP YOU OF EVERYTHING.

Yeah Anonymous - you probably ARE E Tour & Travel. Try giving a 30 day notice when you have only a shitty ass website, no contact information or a phone number with anyone to actually speak to. You are big time aggressive scammers in the worst way to the best of people. #3 Florida travel agency? My ass!

To anyone using this blog as a reference to how E Tour and Travel operates - visit the Better Business Bureau of Florida's website also. You'll find E tour and travel listed as questionable with a number of customer complaints.

If you already signed up for E tour and travel and have given your bank or credit card information. Issue a stop payment and cancel your card as soon as possible. Even if you get your down payment refunded, they'll hit up your account months later if they still have your card number.

Do this and file fraud charges with your banking institution if needed to stay ahead of their schemes. You'll thank me for it.

Lastly, for the record I've had better contact with these losers here on this blog post than via telephone or snail mail. Funny what makes them tick or respond.

    Pricks!

Was told that they do only 1 call per family with this offer of $99. I said "Guess its not for me then". Then she hands the phone over to her manager who tries to talk smart only to hear me hang up on him !!! Havent heard back from em.
The offer they gave me was
    $99
4 days 3 nights in Orlando
4 days 3 nights in Daytona
    7 day car rental
$100 voucher per airfare ticket bought
    BEWARE !!!!

i have been telling these assholes for months to stop calling me. i had to call them 3 times this morning just to get some1 to agree to take me off of their list, and she was extremely rude and proceeded to tell me that just because she took me off their calling list that doesnt mean they wont call back. i did a little research and found out that the calls are coming from the same office, so ive been giving them a taste of their own medicine. i have called and hung up several times to the point where one of the girls said "i wish you would stop dialing this number" and i said "and i wish you pricks would stop calling mine." lol.. its totally not productive, but it makes me feel better.

I contacted the DA's Office and the State Attorney's Office in Orlando. You can go to www.orangecountyfl.net to print complaint forms and fruad forms.I spoke to the DA and they want people to come forward to file criminal charges against EtourandTravel,Inc. They have messed with the wrong person this time.

I have been hounded by this business with phone solicitations for weeks. I have requested that they stop phoning me with no effect.

I have filed a complaint with http://donotcall.gov and plan to file a complaint with the Florida Better Business Bureau.

I cannot imagine that this would be a good business to book a tour with when they apparently cannot handle a polite request to cease phone solicitation.

I purchased a package from them a few years ago. I received 2 days, 3 nights in Orlando, Daytona and the Keys, a week car rental, and 5 $100 voucher for airline and 2 tickets to a theme park for $398. We went to the condo sales pitch for 90 minutes with no pressured sales. The only complaint I have is one hotel was under construction. And one hotel room was kind of old and small. I could not have bought six nights of hotel(for 4 people) and 2 universal tickets for that price. Not counting the rental car and the airline tickets I didn't use.

I just got off the phone with someone from etour and travel. According to them they charged my credit card $600 for a trip that I never took 6 years ago. They also said that I could reactivate this trip for an additional $99. When I said I wanted to talk it over with my husband he said "your husband is going to say yes... so I just need you to verify the first twelve digits of your credit card number."
First of all, my husband would have said "NO"... I am not that easily persuaded.
Secondly, do you really think I am that stupid to give out my credit card number to you?
    Come on now!!! SERIOUSLY!

Alright!!! i have only read bad and nasty stuff about e-tour and travel... but i have to give you my 2cents.
I have bought packages with them 3 times. and have used them all 3 times. i honestly have nothing to complain about them.
YES... we do have to sit for 6O minutes everytime we go on this time share stuff... but we were told about it before. Not everyone needs to go... and we are not forced to buy anything. it lasts 6O minutes and we were done. once we got tkts for a casiono cruise for attending the thing and the other 2x we got tkts for a universal park! i'm sorry! but i honestly didn't see anything bad on sitting there and watch the guy talk for 6O minutes. yes... they work on sales so they do insist a lot for you to buy the stuff. but who cares. i'm not forced to do anything.

i used them as i said 3 times and will do again. the hotels were always great!!! not a problem there at all, since they are just regular hotels... like ramada, sheraton, extended stay, etc. we stayed on the rosen centre and it was awesome.
the last time i requested to stay there. and they did say ok, but ended up putting us on the ramada. and the room we were had some flood or whatever. on the next morning, for our time share tour we requested to be placed on the rosen centre and had no problems at all.

Now... they do call a lot tho. really a lot. i did complain once because they were calling me every single day. after i complained they stopped for 3 months or so and now started again.
but who cares. i have their number so i just don't answer! is that simple. no reason to stress!!!
    =]
    and...
sorry you guys had bad experience with them!

oh... and got no probelms with the car either.
the taxes for the retal car were not included but we were told about before. we got unlimited millage so actually drove from CT to FL and back on the last 2 times.
the last package actually came with a $1OO discount for an air ticket...

honestly... i think that is worth the 1 hour lost on my day. i would sit through it for 2 hours if they asked me and got to save all the money we saved!

I have been bomb barded with calls on my Cell & Home number, how they got my number I have no idea, however, I have spoke to them before and told them I was not interested! This week my phone has been ring off the hook, so when answering I explained to the gentlemen (and I use that very Loosely) I explained I could not do this at this time. He wanted to know Why! I explained that my husband had cancer and would not be traveling! He then Rudely stated, "Well he "could" travel in the next 2 Years". He has no idea the hurt and pain let alone anger he just instilled. Told them never to call back. I called that same number to speak with a Suprervisor, and was hung up 3 Times, Finally talked to a Mathew, who would not give last name. He could only apology. WOW, Big Deal. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER....

I worked for E tour and Travel for a total of eight hours before quitting.
By law if you ask to be removed for their call list they must comply. But they are also strongly encouraged to get you to sign up for the package.
I would advice to ask for their last name and again to be removed. Not to hear out the package if you are not interested.

Can anyone be of an assistance? I purchased a package from them in 2007 which included the orlando, Daytona, theme park tix, car rental and Air bucks coupon for $298 but unfortunatly never got to use them because I was told my wife had to be with me when I go for the Orientation but we are seperated and they still insist that she comes with me. I told them I cannot force her to cme with me if we are not together. So I lost the package. Is their a way for me to get reimbursed for my Loss? Does anyone know?

If you wrote a check again go to your bank fill out the paperwork and VOID the check! Your bank will take care of the rest. If they don't, you need another bank!! You can also report this company to the State Attorney General's Office.

worst deal on earth, i got a call from them. i thought it was a place calling for my cousins honeymoon trip so i made the huge mistake of giving them my bank card number, i called them a day later telling them to take me off of their list i didnt want them to have access to my account. well me and my fiance' had some money saved up so that we could buy her a new car...they took all of it but $143:( my morgan cried for almost an hr. i called the bank and their investigating it, maybe ill get my money back? hope so she deserves a newer car. comment back pls, id like some advice or anything that might re-assure me that i will get my money back. pls

    Above commenter:

The Bank should find in their investigation that this place is fraudulent and refund your money. It took about 2 weeks for me and that was difficult considering we live pay-check to pay-check as it is.

If it helps in their investigation they do have bad reports and files with the BBB in Florida. A Simple "Googling" of them also will bring up many bad dealings.

I sincerely believe that the worse part is that many of the people who have been "duped" by them were not in a financial situation to begin with to even afford a "time share" (which is what they really are selling behind the scheme.)

Hey...guess what I used to work for eTour and Travel. About seven months ago i wouldn't have believed what you said and thought you all were just up set...but get this eTour and Travel don't only rip off there customers but there employee's as well. I used to work for them and they haven't given me my last check and now i can't even get my W-2 form from them to fill taxes. I wish I would have done my research on this company before I started working for them. If there is anyone out there that I talked to when i worked there...i am sorry if i was pushy, rude, or anything else that i shouldn't have been. I was just turned 18 and i needed a job fast. I want to sue eTour and Travel but i guess it wouldn't be the smart thing to do. If anyone feels like helping out, me know. i want to push this but i am one person that wants to help the people that i wronged, the people that are being wronged, and the people that will be wronged.

hello i just wanted to say that i Do work for E Tour and Travel and i am sure there are many things this company does wrong. Being the one who ends up calling you folks 10 or 15 times i hate it. I do not care for the way this company does its business. Yet at the end of the day many folks who do work here are simply trying to feed there family. I only took this job because there was no jobs at the time. I did what i needed to do to take care of my children. I deal with being cussed out and everything all day everyday because people are angry about being called so many times. All i can say is not every person that calls from this company is a Ass****. If it was my company many many many things would change.
    have a wonderful day.

I just recently received a call from these frauds announcing that I had just won an online contest and would only have to pay $498 for an all exclusive 7 days 6 nights in Orlando Florida and all these extra perks mentioned by all the other comments were included too.. Whenever it sounds too good to be true IT IS!! I stupidly gave these assholes my MasterCard # and they went and charged my MasterCard more than $2000! I have cancelled my MasterCard and reported the company as a HUGE SCAM. Beware of e tour and travel.. Because at the time they called me I had no knowledge of who they were.. And after the fact I googled them and found out from others negative experiences that they r fakes... Frauds.. Low life people who just want your money and will leave u bankrupt! WATCH OUT FOR THESE F--KERS! THEY R NOT NICE PEOPLE AND THEY WILL GO CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR ITEMS LIKE "INK SUPPLIES" AND OTHER UNRELATED ITEMS.. IT HAPPENED TO ME! Don't be a victim lets f-ck these guys right back! Thanks everyone for opening a blog to educate others about these lying sacks of shit! By the way I did talk to real people through the whole ordeal... And when canceling they were very rude and did not want to listen to me or allow me to feel taken advantage of.. Even though they knew I was right and they were all lies.. Horrible and scary experience.. I don't know how these people sleep at night they rob people of their hard earnings for a bunch of bullshit! I hope these people who run the company and work for it all get what they deserve. Karma is a b****! What comes around goes around in life! I just wanted to get my message out to other innocent buyers! BEWARE OF E TOUR AND TRAVEL OR ANY COMPANY THAT ONLY WANTS A CREDIT CARD! :|

They promised to send an email to a question I had with in two days it's been 5! They wanted me to give a reason for canceling even though I canceled within the time limit. Was not informed there was a required time share tour that we had to attend in order to receive the package! Ughhhhh!!!! Hate those things and never would have signed up for THAT!

In reply to above Anonymous who wrote, "Strange must be a coincidence that this blog has no positive comments about the company. That's not because there aren't any. Can u say "bias""

The only deleted comments should be noted above and I assure you they were spam comments that had nothing to do with the subject of this post or the company. I left one there as an example.

I'm revisiting this post years after it was first written. I'm against all forms of censorship and again assure you that I would not leave a positive comment out. I will however, call that commentator out; as I am doing to you right now. Wondering what your relationship to this company is?

Are you told to plug positive comments? Is your livelihood dependent on a paycheck from a commission of sales for this company? How do you feel about yourself at the end of the day?

Trust me, my first job was for Thermogaurd window company as a telemarketer. The only people I could get to agree to a home sales visit were the elderly. I felt like shit doing that. Knowing full well many were on a limited income. I quit.

I suspect by now you have also and probably have nothing good to say about them anymore like other bloggers have commented who have worked here.
