Happy Hayday!
Katie-bug can't pronounce the word "Birthday" but instead shouted with glee a number of times yesterday, "It's my Hayday!"

Kids are so innocent and sweet in the ways they interpret words, phrases and even songs. Such as Katie's current rendition of "Happy Birthday":

"Happy Hayday for a balloon,
Happy Hayday for a balloon,
Happy Hayday for Katie-Bug,
Happy Hayday for a balloon."

She is surely a nut, but then again Jon and I should have saw that coming.

Kids say the darndest things! My grand daughter's name is Summer. She sings "It's my my my time!" to "Sum sum summertime", and I just gotta laugh.
Katie is a cutie! Thank you Dr. John for sending me here.

I wish I could remember all the funny words my kids used growing up. My favorite from the neices: Nunky Eel instead of Uncle Neil.
    What DOES T.I.P.C. stand for?

Wifey commented on your previous post, what she didn't say was that our daughter is also called Katie, and it's her birthday next Tuesday. By coincidence I have also come via Dr John.

    Hi Margie

Children are really innnocent and if adults could remember the innocence of being a child, what a better place this world would be.

Dr John has requested I stop by and introduce myself. If you have a minute stop by my blog and have a look.

    Have a wonderful day.
